With 34 years of quiet craft to his name, Daniel works with sustainably sourced Palo Santo from Argentina’s Chaco region, fitting each gourd with a seamless aluminum exterior that strengthens the piece and creates its signature “claro” — clean, bright — appearance. Inside, the Palo Santo still delivers its gentle aroma and warmth, while the outer shell offers durability and a refined, modern profile.
The base and body are wrapped in aluminum and stamped with the maa·tay mark — a subtle detail that grounds the piece in its origin. An understated, elegant option for those who appreciate a lighter aesthetic and a resilient everyday mate.
